Listing accuracy

Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of information provided in their submission. B.O.A.T. writes listing copy based on seller-provided details and our own research. If we get something wrong because you gave us incorrect information, that is on you. If we get something wrong on our own, contact us and we will correct it promptly.

We are not a broker

B.O.A.T. is a curated listing platform. We are not a yacht broker, dealer, or agent. We do not represent buyers or sellers, we do not participate in negotiations, and we do not guarantee the condition, value, or seaworthiness of any vessel listed on this site. All transactions are between buyer and seller directly.

No transaction guarantee

We strongly recommend that buyers commission an independent marine survey before purchasing any vessel. B.O.A.T. makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the condition of any listed vessel. Our editorial assessment is not a substitute for a professional survey.

Right to decline or remove listings

We reserve the right to decline any submission or remove any listing at our discretion, without notice or explanation. This includes listings where we later discover undisclosed problems, where the seller has been uncooperative, or where the vessel no longer meets our editorial standard.

Listing is free

There is no charge to list a vessel on B.O.A.T. We do not take a commission, referral fee, or any other payment in connection with listings or transactions. This may change in the future; if it does, existing listings will not be retroactively charged.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from use of this site shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
