The Process

How It Works

Simple for sellers.
Better for buyers.

Listing is free. Buying is direct. We handle the curation so you don't have to wade through a thousand listings to find one worth reading.

For Sellers

  1. 01

    Walk the listing wizard

A structured, category-aware form: dimensions, propulsion, systems, condition, known issues — the specs serious buyers actually filter by. Five photos are required (main, engine room, bilge, deck, interior), because honest listings sell. Plan on 15–20 minutes; your progress saves as you go.

  2. 02

    We review and edit

Our team reads your submission, researches the model, and edits the write-up to our standard. We may come back with questions. We do not publish until we're satisfied.

  3. 03

    It goes live

Your vessel appears in the marketplace with a full spec sheet and editorial copy. Interested buyers contact you directly. We stay out of the transaction.

For Buyers

  1. 01

    Browse by category

Use the category wheel on the homepage or the browse page to filter by vessel type. Every listing has passed our review.

  2. 02

    Read the write-up

Each listing includes a full editorial write-up — what the boat is, what its history is, what to know before you make an offer.

  3. 03

    Contact the seller directly

B.O.A.T. is not a broker. We connect you with the seller and step aside. No commission, no middleman, no markup.

Listing review typically takes 48 hours. We'll contact you if we have questions or if the vessel doesn't meet our current editorial focus.
