When you submit a vessel for listing, we collect your name, email address, and the information you provide about the boat. If you create an account, we store your login credentials. We do not collect payment information — listing is free and we are not involved in transactions.

How we use it

We use your contact information to communicate with you about your listing and to notify you of buyer interest. We use your submission details to write and publish the listing. We do not use your information for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies required for the site to function — session management and basic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not function correctly if you do.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your listing is active. If you request removal of your listing and account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable records of past listings for internal records.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@boat.com. We will respond within 14 days.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify users by email.
